I absolutely loved it here. The teamwork and communication with support staff, managers, other nurses, physicians and NPs was fantastic. It was one of my favorite places to work and I was excited to be a part of their team.

I was ICU float. Your day completely depended on where you were floated to. Sometimes I would float 2-3 times a day which was awful. Working on the PCU floors, specifically D65, was poorly staffed and unsafe assignments. Sometimes you had 1-2 unstable patients with a total of 4 and no one would help. CNAs were completely overworked. The CT surg floor was a mix of PCU and ICU, also a difficult floor to work on. Floating to the ICUs was usually fine. They don't commonly know who's a traveler so you have to seek out help yourself. Beautiful, advanced hospital but ICU float was an exhausting contract.

Facility was okay overall. Was on a brand new updated floor. Floated probably 10-15 times all contract - floated to like units. Had a charge RN who took a full team most nights - helped you if they had time. Most staff was helpful and kind! Maybe had 1-2 techs on a 44 bed unit - pretty much on your own for vitals, etc. ratio 1:6-7 on nights

This was my first travel contract, and 90% of the staff made me feel welcome and part of the unit. Floating to the ED was fairly common (1-2/week) where it was very busy, but when staying on the unit, we had patients ranging from missed HD sessions to intubated/sedated. More critical patients were moved to larger hospital systems in the area. The charge RN was helpful, and usually didn't have a patient. There was usually a unit secretary and CNA. Would recommend this hospital.

Best hospital I’ve ever worked at. Providers are extremely approachable and available. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Ratios 1:5-6 on days but you get your own tech for those patients (who are super helpful). Free charge available to help and they do all the admission navigators for you as long as they’re available. A lot of critical patients get sent out. Only left to keep traveling. 10/10 recommend!

Not the worst hospital I’ve ever been at, also not the best. Staffing is poor, so floating to the floor happens often but the travelers are treated fairly, usually given 4 floor patients, never more. At this location while I was there about 1/3 of staff was travelers. At times a few medical floors were shut down because they didn’t have staff to keep them open. Medsurg floor nurses would have 8 patients on Night Shift, ICU nurses would have 2-3 icu patients on Night Shift. It’s in a nice location, and if you’re experienced it’s not hard, but maybe a little boring.

The Cath Lab and IR Lab is wonderful. The staff treats their travelers well. They are very helpful and gets acclimated. The physicians are easy to talk to and do care for the wellbeing of the staff and patients in their care. At time of assignment, I was not ever rushed going from 1 case to another. I would love to head back there in the future.

Overall experience has been okay. Most staff is super helpful - a lot of travelers. Usually at least 1 tech for 22 bed unit. Neuro unit is very heavy with patient types. Managers are good with working with your schedule. Ratios 1:5-6 on nights. No charge RN. Has a supervisor or MET nurse to ask questions if needed.
